Privacy Policy
Blow disc point
This policy explains how this application handles information and how to contact us about privacy.
Information we process
Blow disc point stores your game progress, unfinished rounds and flight paths, local scores, achievements, selected disc, language and play preferences on your iPhone. Downloaded daily and tournament course configurations are cached in a local SQLite database. The app creates a random installation secret in the iOS Keychain for online course access. The online database stores only the SHA-256 hash of that secret and its creation time. It does not receive your scores, flight paths, name, email address or contact list. Network requests to the service or this website necessarily expose connection information, such as an IP address and request metadata, to the hosting infrastructure. There are no user accounts, advertising identifiers or analytics SDKs.
How we use information
Local storage lets you resume play, keep personal records, unlock cosmetic discs and use downloaded courses offline. The installation secret authorizes online requests and deletion of that installation's server record without a login. The service provides shared daily courses and tournament selections. Temporary in-memory request counters limit abuse. If you explicitly enable a daily reminder, iOS schedules it locally on your device. Operational error logs contain a request identifier and error type so service failures can be diagnosed; the application does not intentionally log installation secrets or request bodies.
Service providers and sharing
The online service and public website are configured for Railway hosting. Railway processes network traffic and may retain infrastructure and operational logs under its own service practices. The service database is designed to reside on a persistent Railway volume. No advertising, analytics, email delivery, social sign-in or third-party gameplay SDK is integrated. Game scores are not published or shared with other players. Local two-player matches take place only on the same phone. Apple provides the operating system, Keychain, device backup facilities and any locally requested notification permission; the app does not send notification content to an app-operated messaging provider. There is no sale of personal data implemented in the app.
Data retention
Local game progress and cached course configurations remain until you reset them, remove the app or the operating system removes the relevant app data. A Keychain item can remain after app removal; removing the app alone is not a confirmed deletion of a server installation record. The server installation hash and creation time remain until an authorized deletion request succeeds; there is no automatic expiry configured. In-memory rate counters are temporary and disappear when the service restarts. No fixed retention period for Railway infrastructure logs or provider backups is asserted here. No separate application-managed backup service is configured. Operating-system device backups may include local game files according to your device settings.
Deleting your information
Use Settings, Delete data and reset progress to delete saved rounds, records, rewards, downloaded-course cache and the installation secret. When the online endpoint is configured, the app first requests deletion of the server installation record and keeps local data if that deletion cannot be confirmed, so you can retry. Successful deletion removes that installation hash from the live database; it does not delete other installations. SQLite deletion is logical and does not promise immediate forensic erasure of freed storage or provider backups. Existing provider or device backups may persist under their respective handling practices; no immediate backup-erasure guarantee is made. If the installation secret is lost, the app cannot restore progress from another phone or identify and authorize deletion of the corresponding server record. Privacy questions may be sent to Dominic.Li.om@icloud.com; there is no in-app message or email delivery system. Reset also removes pending and delivered app reminders from this device.
Permissions and your choices
The only optional permission requested is local notifications, and only after you choose Enable reminder in Settings. Declining it does not affect gameplay. You can turn reminders off in the app and withdraw notification permission in iPhone Settings at any time. The app does not request location, camera, microphone, photo library or contacts access. It contains no geographic map SDK. The app accesses the network for online course configuration; all campaign courses and local play remain available offline.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal information and to raise a complaint with a relevant authority. You can review local records and preferences in the app, change preferences, disable reminders and use the deletion control. Contact Dominic.Li.om@icloud.com with privacy questions or requests. Please do not send your installation secret. Because the service has no account or email identity, the operator may be unable to associate an email request with a particular installation without an appropriate, secure means of verification. No recovery through a login is available.
Security
Production online connections are intended to use HTTPS. Each installation uses its own randomly created secret, stored in the device-only Keychain. The server stores a hash rather than the plaintext secret and checks authorization on course requests and installation deletion. The app has no shared embedded server credential. SQLite transactions and atomic local save replacement reduce data-integrity risks. Public home and privacy pages require no secret or login and set no cookies. Network or device security cannot be guaranteed; keep your phone and operating system protected. A lost installation secret cannot be recovered through an account.
Children’s privacy
The game is intended for a general audience of casual players, with a designed audience of ages 14 and older. It does not include accounts, public chat, advertising or online player profiles. It does not knowingly ask children to provide identifying information. A parent or guardian with a concern may contact Dominic.Li.om@icloud.com. Local notification permission is optional and gameplay does not require personal details.
Changes to this policy
This policy describes the app and online service practices for the version dated above. If processing or features change, the policy will be updated at this page and its effective date revised. Review the policy through Settings or the public privacy page. Material changes will be reflected in the relevant app information; the app does not subscribe you to email updates.
